4th grade math word problems

Hello my small friends, i will discuss some of 4th grade math word problems, we have worked on basic algebra word problem which you guys have liked.

I have a simple example for 4th grade math word problem, just check that out.

John started his studies at 6.30 p.m. He finished it at 8.20 p.m. How long did he take to complete his studies?

Solution:

Starting time = 6.30 pm .

Finished time = 8.20 pm

So we have to find the difference between the two times.

From 6: 30 pm to 7:30 = 60 minutes or two hours

From 7:30 pm to 8:20 = 50 minutes

Therefore add the two times,

= 60+50

=110 minutes.
